T here are places where the landscape seems to dictate the pace of life. The Residences at Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Antigua will introduce the Nikki Beach name to the Western Hemisphere for the first time, combining a resort, beach club, and private residences in a US$400 million development conceived around the pleasures of island living. Developed by White Sand Development Ltd, a subsidiary of Ayre Group, in collaboration with Nikki Beach Hospitality Group, the project will comprise an 82-room hotel and 134 turnkey residences. Of these, 127 will range from studios to three-bedroom homes, joined by just seven four-bedroom luxury villas occupying coveted beachfront positions. Yet the proposition is less about numbers than about how life here is intended to feel.
